Classic yachts under full sail
Under Sail shows two classic yachts side by side, sails full, on a blue-grey sea. It's yacht art full of movement, and it suits a hallway or a study where it gets a second look. The tall, portrait shape gives the rigs room.

Dinghies and small boats
Room to Sail is a small ivory dinghy beside an ochre buoy, with wide sage-green water all round. It's a gentle picture for someone who learned to sail in a dinghy. Inner Harbour sets small wooden sailing boats in a stone harbour, with cottages behind. Dinghy Race fills a sheltered bay with small boats under white and ochre sails.
At anchor and on the mooring
At Anchor is a white yacht resting on calm celadon water off a green coast, its sail stowed. It's a restful piece, good for a bedroom. Calm scenes with wide water also sit well beside our coastal prints.
Putting sailing prints together
Two portrait pieces, Under Sail and Room to Sail, make a natural pair: one busy, one calm, the same blue-grey and sage palette. Hang them side by side with a hand's width between the frames. At Anchor works on its own above a bed or a sofa, or as the wide centre piece with a portrait print either side.
Keep the frames the same colour across a group. Mixed frames make three pictures look like three purchases rather than one wall.
Large sailing prints for tall rigs
A sailing boat is taller than it is long once the mast is up. That's why Under Sail and Room to Sail are portrait-shaped. They suit a narrow wall, a chimney breast or the space beside a door. At Anchor and Inner Harbour suit a wall above a sofa, a bed or a sideboard.

Framed sailing prints, canvas or metal?
A framed poster in black or natural wood gives a pale sea a clear edge. Canvas has a soft, textured surface and comes stretched over a wooden frame. Metal gives crisp colour and suits a modern room. Wood suits a cottage or a room with timber furniture.
Our prints are for dry rooms ashore, not for a boat's cabin, where damp and changing temperatures don't suit paper, canvas or wood.
Vintage-style sailing prints
The Old Gaffer and Red Sails show traditional rigs in muted colours. They can sit comfortably beside older furniture, but the pictures are imagined scenes and the prints are made when you order. Choose them for the boat and palette you enjoy, not as records of a historical vessel.
