About this print
A tall ship runs before the wind, which means the wind is coming from behind her and filling every square sail. She is heading toward you through a choppy grey-green sea, under a blue-grey sky with breaks of light, and green hills rise low on the horizon.
This picture has energy and suits a study, a hallway or a teenager's room. It's tall and slim, so it fits a narrow space. It's a good gift for someone starting a new chapter, with the wind behind them.
The sails are bright against the darker sea, which looks good as a framed poster. Canvas brings out the movement in the waves. A2 or 50x70 cm suits a wall on its own; A3 fits beside a door.
Blue-grey, navy and white walls suit it. It pairs well with Full Sail for two tall ships under full sail, one in calm and one in rougher water. Write the title in the card, because it carries the message on its own. For a leaving present, it says good luck without needing many words.
