A few things worth knowing.
Can you make a print of my own boat?
Yes. Upload your photograph to print it as it is, or choose an AI art treatment and inspect the watermarked preview before ordering. Sailing yachts, dinghies and motorboats are all welcome.
Is the boat portrait made with AI?
Yes. The three portrait styles are regenerated by AI from your own photograph, and you check a free watermarked preview before you order. A direct photo print uses your photograph as it is, with no AI treatment.
Can I see the result before I buy?
You can inspect a watermarked AI preview before choosing your print. Verify your email for up to three successful previews per day. Check the hull, rigging and other details carefully before selecting a result.
Which photograph should I use?
Use the full-size, full-resolution file with the whole boat visible. Leave space around the mast and bow. Avoid screenshots and images saved from social media. Our upload tool checks which print sizes suit the file.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
This storefront is for UK orders and prices are in pounds sterling. Available products and delivery information are shown before payment.
What sizes and formats can I buy?
Posters run from A4 to 70x100 cm. Framed posters come at A3 and A2, in black or natural wood. Canvas runs from 30x40 to 60x80 cm, and framed canvas from 30x40 to 50x70 cm in black, dark wood or natural wood. Metal comes from 30x40 to 50x70 cm, and wood at 30x40 or 40x50 cm. Each artwork page lists the sizes it comes in, with prices.
How long does delivery take?
Every print is made after you order it. Making takes 2 to 4 working days and delivery 2 to 5 more, so allow up to 9 working days in all. Delivery to UK addresses is included in the price.
Can I return a print?
A print from the collection can be cancelled up to 14 days after it arrives, without a reason. Send it back unused and you pay the return postage unless it is faulty. A print of your own photo is made for you alone, so the change-of-mind right does not apply once it goes into production. Our delivery and returns page has the details.
What if my print arrives damaged?
Email us with your order reference and a photo of the problem. We reprint or refund a damaged, faulty or wrong print at our cost.
What paper are the posters printed on?
Posters are printed on 250gsm uncoated off-white archival paper, which has a soft matt finish with no glare.
Will the whole picture be on my print?
Every print in the collection is printed portrait. A tall picture prints whole; a wide scene is trimmed at the sides. The picture at the top of each artwork page shows the print exactly as it will be trimmed at the size you choose.
Do you sell gift cards?
Not at the moment. If you are buying for a sailor and are not sure of the boat or the size, an A4 or A3 poster from the collection is the safest choice, and our gift guides have more ideas.
