About this print
Two classic yachts are sailing hard on a blue-grey sea, close together and leaning with the wind. The nearer one has a dark green hull, the one behind a varnished wooden hull. Both carry tall cream mainsails and a jib at the front. Small whitecaps break across the water and a line of cliffs sits low on the horizon.
This one is taller than it's wide, so it fits a narrow wall: beside a door, at the turn of a stair, or in an alcove. It has plenty of movement, which makes it a good pick for someone who races or crews on a yacht, or simply loves watching boats on a breezy day.
The sails are the brightest part of the picture and they hold fine lines of rigging. A framed poster shows those lines crisply. If you like a softer finish, canvas suits the rolling sea. A3 or A2 is right for a hallway; go larger for a bare wall in a living room.
