About this print
A stone harbour sits inside its walls, with a row of cream cottages and grey slate roofs along the quay. Worn stone steps lead down to the water. Small sailing boats are moored inside, one with a red-brown sail, and their masts reflect in the still green water.
It looks like the kind of harbour you find in Cornwall or on the Yorkshire coast, though it's not a portrait of any one place. It suits a kitchen, a dining room or a holiday cottage, and it's a warm gift for someone who has a favourite harbour village.
There's a lot of detail in the cottages and the boats, so a framed poster suits it. A framed canvas looks more traditional. 50x70 cm or 40x50 cm works well on a main wall.
Cream, stone and soft blue walls suit it. For a harbour set, add Harbour Steps and Crab Boats, which feel like the same village from different corners. Hung in a row, the three tell a little story of a working harbour.
