About this print
A small cove opens out between two grassy headlands. Pale rocks run down to clear green water, and tufts of rust-coloured grass fill the foreground, as if you're standing at the top of the path down. The sea beyond is calm and the sky is soft blue with cloud.
It feels like a find on a coast walk, so it suits someone who loves walking the cliffs of Cornwall, Pembrokeshire or the Northumberland coast. It works above a sofa, a bed or a desk. The greens and creams sit happily with most room colours.
The thick paint on the rocks and grass looks best on canvas. A framed canvas in natural wood keeps it fresh and summery. A 50x70 cm print gives you room to see down into the cove.
It sits well with sage, cream or pale blue walls. If you're making a coastal set, add Rock Pools and Dunes, which share its colours. Most people hang a group like that in a row at the same height.
