About this print
There's no boat, no coast and no lighthouse here, only open sea and sky. A long swell rolls toward you, grey-green with darker troughs, and a band of apricot light sits low on the horizon under soft cloud. It's the view from a ferry rail or a clifftop on a still evening.
Because it's so simple, it fits almost anywhere: a bedroom, a calm office, a hospital or care room where a gentle view helps. It suits the wall above a bed or a sofa. It's also a good choice when you're buying for someone whose taste you're not sure of.
The soft colour gradient looks smooth on metal or as a framed poster. Canvas gives the swell more texture. Soft grey, cream and pale green walls all suit it, and it hangs well over a bath or beside a window. This is one to go big with; 70x100 cm as a poster or 60x80 cm on canvas turns a wall into a window.
