About this print
A small white lighthouse with a copper cap stands at the end of a long timber pier. Gulls wheel above it and a few more perch along the rail. The grey-green sea runs under the pier's wooden legs, and the sky is pale with soft cloud. The pier leads your eye straight to the light.
It has a seaside-town feel, so it suits a kitchen, a hallway or a holiday let. It's tall and narrow. It's a fond choice for someone who walked to the end of a pier like this as a child, gulls and all.
The pier timbers and the birds have plenty of fine detail, which a framed poster keeps crisp. Canvas gives the sea a softer look. A3 suits a hallway; A2 gives the gulls room to fly. Pair it with a harbour print for a coastal wall.
White, pale grey and sea-green walls suit it. For a seaside set, add Harbour Gull or The Promenade.
