About this print
A lighthouse on a dark, rocky point sends one warm beam out across a rolling night sea. A few stars show through a green-grey sky, and moonlight silvers the water beyond the rocks. The tower itself is small in the frame; the beam and the sea are what you notice first.
This is a moody picture for a darker room: a study, a snug or a bedroom you want to feel cosy. It's tall, and it suits a narrow wall where a single light is all you need. People who work at night, or who have kept watch at sea, often like it for that reason.
Canvas suits the deep colours and the thick paint in the waves. A framed canvas in black makes the beam look brighter by comparison. If it's going above a bedside table, A3 is enough; for a wall on its own, choose A2 or 50x70 cm.
