About this print
This one is in the style of an old railway travel poster. A curved seaside promenade sweeps round with navy railings, a domed shelter and a row of coral-red terraced houses. A few people stroll along it, and the sky is a flat mint green. The shapes are simple and the colours are bold.
It suits a modern kitchen, a hallway or an office, and it looks good in a set of travel-style posters. It's a nice gift for someone who loves a British seaside town, its bandstand and its prom.
The flat colours look sharp as a framed poster in black, which suits the poster style. Metal also gives a bright, smooth finish. It's tall; A3 or A2 suits most walls.
White, mint and coral walls suit it, and it looks good with mid-century furniture. For a poster set, add Ferry Day, which is in the same bold travel poster style. A pair like that works well side by side above a sideboard or in a hallway. Keep both frames black so they look like a set.
