About this print
Old stone steps lead down a harbour wall into the water, green with weed at the bottom. A wooden rowing boat is tied up beside them on a line from an iron ring set in the stone. The evening light is warm and the hills across the water are soft and blue.
It has a gentle, end-of-the-day feeling, so it suits a sitting room, a bedroom or a reading corner. It's a thoughtful gift for someone who rows, or who spent childhood summers jumping off a harbour wall like this one.
The worn stone looks great on canvas, where the paint texture matches the rough steps. A framed poster in natural wood gives a lighter look. Choose 40x50 cm for a smaller room or 50x70 cm for a main wall.
Warm stone, cream and soft green walls suit it. It pairs well with Inner Harbour for a harbour set, or with Low Tide if you want another rowing boat waiting for the water. Matching frames make the pair look planned.
