About this print
Two small wooden boats, one blue and one varnished, sit pulled up on a stone slipway. Around them are crab and lobster pots, coils of green rope and orange floats, all waiting for the next trip out. Behind them the harbour wall and a few cottages sit under a pale sky.
It's a working picture, full of real gear, and it suits a kitchen, a utility room or a study. It's a good present for someone who fishes, works on the water, or loves fresh crab from a harbour stall.
The pots and ropes have fine detail that a framed poster shows clearly. Canvas gives it a more painterly look. A 40x50 cm or 50x70 cm print fits above a kitchen counter or a table.
Blues, greys and rope colours sit well with it, and it looks at home in a kitchen with wooden worktops. Pair it with Inner Harbour for two views of a working harbour. If you buy it for someone who fishes, write in the card where they keep their own boat.
