About this print
A small blue launch with a canopy moves across a busy harbour. Wooden fishing boats are moored against the stone walls, one with a tan sail, and the harbour mouth opens out to the sea. The water is calm and grey-green.
It's a busy, cheerful picture that suits a kitchen, a hallway or a study. It's a good gift for someone who works in a harbour, or who loves pottering round one on holiday.
The boats and stonework have fine detail that a framed poster shows well. Canvas gives the water more texture. 40x50 cm and 50x70 cm are the two easy sizes.
Grey, white and soft blue walls suit it. For a harbour set, add Inner Harbour and Harbour Steps, which share the same stone and water. A row of three looks good along a hallway or above a long sideboard. Keep the frames the same colour. It also makes a good present for someone who runs harbour trips or a ferry.
