About this print
A small wooden launch with a cream canopy glides along a tree-lined river. Willows and oaks lean over the water from both banks, and the river is so still that the trees reflect almost perfectly. The light is soft and green.
It feels like a summer afternoon on the Thames or the Wye, so it suits a sitting room, a bedroom or a riverside home. It's a good gift for someone who hires a boat on the river each year.
The leafy reflections look lovely on canvas. A framed poster in natural wood keeps the greens fresh. 50x70 cm or 40x50 cm suits most walls.
Soft green, cream and stone walls suit it. For a pair, add The Quiet Berth, another boat at rest on calm water, or Varnished Runabout for a faster pace. It fits nicely in a room with plants, where the greens pick each other up. A natural wood frame keeps it fresh. It also suits a riverside pub or café wall.
