About this print
A cabin cruiser lies at anchor on calm water as the sun sets. The sky is apricot and peach, the hills on either side are dark green, and warm light glows from the cabin windows. The water mirrors all of it in soft stripes of colour.
It's a warm, cosy picture for a sitting room, a dining room or a bedroom. It's a lovely gift for a couple who spend evenings on their boat, or anyone who loves a loch or a lake at sunset.
The glowing colours look rich on canvas. A framed canvas in dark wood adds to the evening feel. A 50x70 cm print suits the main wall of a room.
Deep green, navy and warm cream walls suit it. For a pair, add The Quiet Berth, another cruiser at rest, or Homeward Wake for a boat on the move. The warm light from the cabin windows makes it a good picture for a dining room, where it's often seen by lamplight. Hang it at eye height.
