About this print
A cabin cruiser with a navy hull and a cream wheelhouse is tied up at an old timber jetty on a still estuary. Reed beds edge the bank, the tide is up, and the low sun lays a bright path across the water. Further out, a single yacht and a few buoys sit on the calm.
This is a picture of a boat at rest at the end of the day, so it suits places where people wind down: a snug, a bedroom, a holiday cottage. It's a lovely choice for a couple who keep a boat on a river or estuary, or who spend their summers on the Broads or a south coast creek.
The detail on the jetty and the wheelhouse windows is fine, so a framed poster suits it well. Natural wood keeps the warm light of the scene. For a wall above a sofa, a 50x70 cm print gives the reflections enough room.
