About this print
A row of beach huts stands on the sand in soft pastel colours: sage, cream, pale blue, slate and rust. Behind them the sea rolls in under a pale sky, and the sand drifts up to their steps. Each hut has its own door and its own shade, like a row of seaside houses.
It's cheerful and bright, and it suits a kitchen, a bathroom with good airflow, a child's room or a holiday let. It's a nice gift for someone who has a hut of their own, or who rents one every summer.
The flat pastel colours look clean on wood or as a framed poster. Canvas gives the sand more texture. A 40x50 cm size fits a smaller wall and 50x70 cm a bigger one.
Pastel walls, white tiles and pale wood suit it. For a beach set, add Windbreaks and Dunes, which share its soft sandy colours. Beach huts are a seaside fixture all round the British coast, from Southwold to Whitby, so it works for most people who love the seaside. Hang the set low enough to enjoy from a chair.
