About this print
An ochre and cream striped lighthouse rises above sand dunes, with clumps of marram grass bending in the wind. Marram is the tough grass whose roots hold dunes together. A thin line of sea shows on the left, and the sky is pale and summery. The colours are warm sand, sage and rust.
It's a sunny, holiday picture, so it suits a bright kitchen, a beach house or a child's room. It's tall and fits a narrow wall well. If someone has a favourite striped lighthouse from a summer holiday, this gives them that feeling without needing to be the exact one.
The warm colours look lovely on wood, which gives a natural grain under the print. A framed poster in natural wood is the lighter choice. A3 and A2 both work; pair it with a beach print for a set.
Sandy yellows, soft greens and white paintwork all sit well with it. It also makes a good pair with Dunes, which has the same marram grass without the tower.
