About this print
Two terns fly low over a pale green sea, one with a small fish in its beak. Terns are slim seabirds with forked tails and pointed wings, which is why some people call them sea swallows. A dark headland sits on the right and the sky is soft cream.
It's light and airy and suits a bedroom, a living room or a bright kitchen. It makes a good gift for a birdwatcher or someone who loves the summer coast.
The soft colours look smooth as a framed poster or on metal. Canvas gives the sea a gentle texture. A 50x70 cm print gives the birds room to fly.
Pale green, cream and white walls suit it. For a seabird set, add Clifftop Puffins and Gannets Diving. Terns come to British coasts for the summer and leave again in autumn, so it's a nice reminder of the warm months on a winter wall. The fish in the beak is a nice detail to point out. A natural wood frame keeps it light.
