About this print
A grey stone lighthouse with an iron gallery and a dark lantern sits on a low rock covered in green weed. The sea is almost still around it, pale and silvery, and the sky is a soft white. There are no waves and no boats, only the tower and its reflection breaking up in the water.
It's a calm, cool picture and it suits a bathroom with good ventilation, a bedroom or a hallway. It's tall and slim. For someone who knows the offshore lights around the UK coast, it's a peaceful way to have one on the wall.
The fine stonework and the soft greys suit a framed poster, where the detail stays sharp. Metal also works well for the silvery sea. A3 is a good size beside a door; A2 if it's the only picture on the wall.
Pale grey, white or soft blue walls suit it best. If you want a pair with more drama, hang it beside Storm Keeper: the same kind of tower, on a very different day.
