About this print
Seen from above, a small motor launch with an ochre hull and a white cabin lies on its mooring line, tied to a round white buoy. The water is a deep slate-teal, painted in broad, blocky strokes, and the rope curves across it in one clean line. Slack water is the short pause at the turn of the tide, when the current stops and a moored boat sits still.
The view from above makes it feel more like a design than a scene, so it suits a modern kitchen, an office or a bathroom with good airflow. It's tall, so it fits beside a window or a door.
The strong colours stand up well on metal, which gives a smooth, bright finish. A framed poster in black sharpens the graphic look. A3 suits a narrow space; A2 makes more of the rope and the buoy if you have the wall.
