About this print
A cluster of round, weathered buoys floats on green water, tied together with rope and rusty chain. They are cream, rust and ochre, worn by the sea. In the distance, low hills sit along the shore.
It's a close-up of everyday harbour life and suits a kitchen, a bathroom with good airflow or a study. Anyone who keeps a boat on a mooring will know these buoys well, so it makes a fitting gift.
The worn textures look great on canvas. A framed poster gives a cleaner look. 40x50 cm or 50x70 cm are the sizes to look at.
Sage, rust and cream walls suit it. For a nautical set, add Rope and Cleat and Compass Rose, which share its weathered colours. It's a good present for a boat owner who has just found a mooring, as anyone who has waited for one will know. A natural wood frame suits the worn colours. It also suits a bathroom or a utility room by the coast. For a small wall, A3 is enough. Hang it at eye height.
